Dean had waited for about… what? Five hours! She had to be done. Right? “Dude, how long has it been?”
Sam looked up, his eyes moving away from the laptop screen. He looked at his watch and back up at Dean. “Five minutes.” Dean looked at his brother bluntly.
“Why do chicks take so long to get dressed?” Sam half smiled, peering up again. “Come on!”
“Dean-”
“I mean, I know she’s probably never worn a dress-”
“Dean!”
“What?” Sam signalled towards the bathroom with his eyes. Little bro wasn’t too good with the idea of subtly. Dean turned, half expecting to laugh at her stupidity or lack of effort. But he was wrong, his jaw dropped open. Was it obvious? She looked… like a girl.
“Ease up baby,” she said. “You never seen a girl in a dress?”
“Faith, you look nice,” Sam said. She came over and stood by him, her hands ruffling through his hair. “Its okay junior, I know nerd school frowns upon saying anything but ‘nice’.” Dean let out a laugh.
“Nerd school!” Dean shook his head. “That’s a good one.” Sam stared at Dean, his eyes said it all. ‘Dean, will you ever grow up?’
Dean knew she would come over to him, and unlike the usual day to day flirting this would be awkward. She wasn’t in her usual tight leather pants and tank top, she was in a dress! Hot! “O God,” Dean muttered. Was he really into her? Why now after four months? Sam stood up and headed over to Dean, along with Faith.
“Faith, you look hot!” Had Dean said that? Wait, Sam had said it! “See, nerd school not so bad.” Faith laughed, her teeth grazing her lips slightly. Dean stared. “Dean.”
“Yeah!” Sam did his o so obvious eye movements. “What?”
“Say something,” Sam muttered.
“Faith, you look…erm.” He had to say the right thing; they couldn’t know how he felt. “Intense.” Sam smiled, trying to stop himself from laughing. Faith turned to Sam who turned back to Dean. They stood, staring. “Let’s go.”

“This suit is so ridiculous!” Dean tugged at the bow tie.
“Hey!” Faith slapped his hand off.
“I dress up for you and you slap me.” Dean looked at Faith as she put the bow tie back in place. He stared at her, longingly. She looked beautiful and he felt something. “What is that?” he muttered.
“What?”
“Nothing.” Dean headed for the main hall where the demons gathered. Though the problem was telling the demons apart from the humans.
“Honestly, does this dress look like crap?” Faith asked. Dean stared at her, it looked hotter than he could explain but how could he tell her that?
“You know if Sam’s girlfriend doesn’t come with the potion we won’t have to worry about that.” Faith frowned, half expecting that he would have said something very different. “Let’s go in.”
“Yeah.”
